Thornberry Creek has 27 championship holes of golf. The original nine hole course has two greens for each hole and offers multiple sets of tees that can challenge and also provide a relaxed round of golf for players of all ability levels.
The newer 18 hole course opened in 1994 and was designed by Rick Jacobson. It is considered one of the best courses in Northeast Wisconsin by much of the golfing public in the Green Bay area. The 18 hole course has four sets of tees with the forward course (red tees) measuring 5,103 yards and the tournament course (blue tees) stretching out to 6,934 yards.
There are 72 sand bunkers and 11 water hazards on the 18 that are strategically placed in areas that can penalize and reward accordingly. Playing the 18 hole course, many believe the round is started and finished on holes reminiscent of the "Wisconsin Northwoods" and the middle holes meander through one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the Green Bay area making many feel like they are in Arizona and southern Florida. Played early morning and got around in just over 3 hours. Course was in prisitne condition and greens are in excellant shape. If you do not have a range finder you will have to walk off yardage from 200, 150 or 100 yard markers, there are no in between yardages. Beverage cart did not start until 9AM so did not see them until back nine on a very hot day, we would have liked knowing this before hand since the turn to back nine does not come back to clubhouse. Very impressed with overall experiance having not played here before, and would certainly return if the call to play Oneida Country club fails to come thru again!!

Unpaved or nonexistent cart paths detracted from an otherwise great course. Could use on-course rest rooms (as opposed to porta-potties). Costs alot more than the $53 noted on this site. However in fairness, it was probably good value for a fine course at a premium time, a beautiful mid-day weekend (Sunday) round of golf.

Really its a great value. I'd rather drive the extra 45 miles north of Sheboygan and play this than pay over $100 a round down there.
